However, after a certain amount of time, Pura Vida displays a pop-up with an offer to get 10% off. They start off the pop-up by asking if you want 10% off. This is an obvious yes answer for everyone & framed to get a click-through. Once "Yes" is clicked, visitors are asked to enter their email. After they opt-in, they are encouraged to buy & the 10% off deal is highlighted at the top of the site with a 60 minute time limit to create urgency. In just those 3 steps I described above, Pura Vida quickly puts the visitor's focus on using that 10%, increasing the probability of a purchase.
