Long-time internet marketer John Reese had a big launch recently for his competitive intelligence product & this is the sales page he used to sell it. He...View More used an interesting approach this time, combining video with written copy. It makes the sales page visibly shorter, caters to both readers & watchers & provides a unqiue type of engagement where you read & than watch several times. If you notice, John includes a bold, red headline before each video. It's important that you finish before each video with a strong statement that encourages you to watch the video. The framing & build-up to watch it is just as important as what's in the video. There are two more things I really want you to pay attention too. One is that a HUGE component of his pitch is that "things have changed, what you're currently doing is wrong, & to be successful, you have to change the way you do things." This allows John to position his product as the solution to this "new" problem. Lastly, in the second part of the letter, John comes up with the term "Emulators" to describe the group of highest performing marketers/entrepreneurs who utilize the techniques he teaches. He makes it secretive & special to make the prospect want to be one of these "Emulators". John doesn't come out with products as often as most IMers, but he's always good for quality content.
